Hace un par de años hubo una exposición llamada cocos (copias y coincidiencias) a la que siguió un estupendo libro sobre la descarada copia de diseños de todo tipo. Esto me ha venido a la mente a raíz de pasarme un rato por Madrid en que vi unas tiendas y pensé: ¿Qué videojuego era el favorito del diseñador del logo de Caprabo? ¿Sobre qué tipo de papel hizo los bocetos el que creó la imagen de las modistas Bimba & Lola? Y la más importante: ¿No les da vergüenza llamarse 'creativos'?

Couple of years ago there was this exhibit called cocos (copies and coincidences) which showed all types of plagiarism in design. Walking around my hometown I passed by a couple stores and reflected on this matter. And I wondered: Which was the Caparabo logo designer's fav videogame? Which paper was used to sketch Bimba&Lola's image? And last but not least: Aren't they ashamed of calling themselves 'creatives'?
